Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WBNR Inc. ("WBNR," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit wbnr.co, click on or interact with one of our advertisements, submit a form, register for a webinar we produce, or otherwise engage with our services.
WBNR is a business-to-business webinar production company serving licensed mortgage professionals in Canada. Our services are not directed to consumers or to children.
1. Who We Are

2. What We Collect
We collect only the information we need to run our business:
Information you give us: name, business name (brokerage), title, regulator licence number (if you choose to provide it), email, phone number, mailing address, social profiles, and anything you write in messages or forms.
Information from ads and lead forms: when you click a Meta/Facebook or Instagram lead ad and submit the in-platform form, Meta sends the information you authorize (typically name, email, phone, plus any custom questions) to our CRM.
Information from webinars: when you register or attend a webinar we produce on Zoom, we and the host broker receive your registration details, attendance, and any poll, Q&A, or feedback responses.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device data, pages viewed, links clicked, and similar usage data, through cookies and pixels.
Information from public sources: publicly available data from regulator registries (FSRA, RECA, BCFSA, etc.), brokerage websites, and professional directories, used for B2B prospecting.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as SIN, government IDs, or financial account numbers. If you send it to us anyway, we'll delete it.
3. How We Use It
We use personal information to:
Respond to inquiries, onboard clients, and deliver our services;
Produce, host, and promote webinars on behalf of broker clients;
Run paid ad campaigns on Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok;
Send marketing communications about our own services, where you have given consent under CASL;
Improve our site, funnels, and offers;
Prevent fraud and security incidents;
Comply with the law; and
Establish or defend legal claims.
4. Who We Share It With
We share personal information only with:
Our broker clients. When you register for a webinar we produce on behalf of a mortgage broker, your registration information is provided to that broker. The broker becomes responsible for your information under their own privacy practices.
Our service providers, each bound by written agreements:
Zoom (United States) — webinar hosting
GoHighLevel (United States) — CRM and marketing automation
Pipedrive (Estonia / EU) — sales CRM
Make.com (Czech Republic / EU) — workflow automation
Google Workspace (United States) — email and document storage
Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok (primarily United States) — advertising platforms
[Stripe / PayPal / etc.] — payment processing
Authorities and advisors when required by law, court order, or to defend our legal interests, and our lawyers, accountants, and insurers under confidentiality.
A purchaser of WBNR or its assets in the event of a sale, merger, or restructuring.
We do not sell personal information. Our use of the Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, and similar tools may be considered "selling" or "sharing" under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA); California residents can opt out — see Section 9.
5. Cross-Border Transfers
WBNR is based in Ontario, Canada. Several of our service providers store data in the United States and the European Union. By using wbnr.co, you understand and consent to your information being transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions, where it may be subject to access by foreign authorities under local laws.
6. Cookies, Meta Pixel, and Tracking
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the site functional, measure traffic, and attribute conversions to advertising campaigns.
Meta Pixel. Our site fires the Meta Pixel and may transmit hashed event data via Meta Conversions API. This means Meta receives information about your visit (IP address, browser data, page URLs, and conversion events such as webinar registrations) and uses it to optimize ad delivery. Meta's use of this data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.
Your choices. Manage non-essential cookies through the cookie banner on your first visit, or through your browser settings. To opt out of personalized ads:

We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from California residents.
7. Email and SMS (CASL)
We send commercial electronic messages only with your express consent (e.g., you submitted a Meta lead form, registered for a webinar, or ticked a consent box) or under one of CASL's permitted categories of implied consent or exemptions.
Every commercial email we send identifies WBNR, includes our mailing address, and contains a working unsubscribe link that we honour within 10 business days. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email, replying STOP to any SMS, or emailing privacy@wbnr.co.
8. How Long We Keep It
Active client records: for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years (Canadian tax requirements).
Prospect and webinar registrant records: up to 24 months from your last engagement, then deleted or anonymized.
Financial records: 7 years.
Marketing consent records: 3 years from the last consent or message, whichever is later.
After these periods, we delete or anonymize the information.
9. Your Rights
All Canadian residents (PIPEDA): you can request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and withdraw your consent (subject to legal and contractual limits). You can also file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Quebec residents (Law 25): you have additional rights including data portability, the right to be informed of any automated decision-making, and the right to file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec at cai.gouv.qc.ca. Our Privacy Officer (Arian, privacy@wbnr.co) is the person responsible for personal information at WBNR.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (including via the Meta Pixel and similar advertising tools). Email privacy@wbnr.co with subject line "California Privacy Request."
EU/UK residents (GDPR): where GDPR applies, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and you can complain to your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, email privacy@wbnr.co. We respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30 days under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25; 45 days under U.S. state laws; one month under GDPR).
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, multi-factor authentication on administrator accounts, and written data processing agreements with our service providers. No system is perfectly secure and you transmit information to us at your own risk. If a breach occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm under PIPEDA, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required.
11. Children
Our services are for licensed mortgage professionals and other adults engaged in commercial activity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14 (Quebec) or 13 (United States).
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The Effective Date above will reflect the most recent version, and material changes will be communicated by a prominent notice on the site or by email to active clients.
13. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, except where mandatory local law (Quebec Law 25, GDPR, CPRA) applies to residents of those jurisdictions.
